Is there a difference between laziness and inactivity? I believe that there most definitely is. Laziness, as in all self-destructive behavior has it’s roots in some psychological concepts. Inactivity is not so easily described.
Mental quicksand could easily be titled, “thinking quicksand” in that your mental attitude and thinking patterns are both subject to the danger of slipping deep into a quicksand of bad thoughts and terrible feelings.
No matter how hard you try, you are likely to make some sort of mistake today. You may forget to take out the trash, accidentally cut someone off in traffic, forget to file an important document at work, or forget to pick up milk at the grocery store. Mistakes happen.
